How do we use cookies?

Salt Money Ltd uses cookies in a range of ways to improve your experience on our website, including:

  • Understanding how you use our website

What types of cookies do we use?

We group cookies into three categories. You control the second and third yourself, and nothing in them is loaded until you say so.

  • Essential — always on, and never used to track you. These remember the choice you make on our cookie banner and whether you have dismissed an announcement on the site. Without them the site cannot remember your preferences from one page to the next.
  • Analytics — only with your consent. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful so we can improve them. Until you accept this category, Google Analytics is prevented from storing anything on your device.
  • Marketing — only with your consent. We use the Facebook Pixel (delivered through Google Tag Manager) to measure how our advertising performs and to show relevant ads afterwards, and HubSpot’s visitor analytics, which recognises you between visits. Neither is loaded onto the page at all unless you accept this category.

Live chat

Our live chat is available to you whether or not you accept anything below. Because it is provided by HubSpot, opening a conversation sets a small number of cookies that are needed to run that conversation and keep your place in it. We only load it when you click to chat, so if you never start a conversation those cookies are never set.

How to manage cookies

You can accept or reject each category using the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time using the button below. You can also set your browser not to accept cookies, and the website above tells you how to remove cookies from your browser. However, in a few cases, some of our website features may not function as a result.
